Bad boy singer Chris Brown has announced he is starting a new equality campaign for gay people and other minority groups.
This has surprised some as in the past the star has been criticised for being a part of anti-gay rants.
The former boyfriend of Rihanna made the announcement via a tweet, saying that his new single ‘They Don’t Know’ is part of the campaign, called “UNITY”.
He also tweeted to say the campaign aimed to “encourage all races, genders, sexes, gay or straight to love each other!”.
Is this an attempt to repair his wreckage of a reputation or a genuine shift in attitude? That much has yet to be seen.
