#MarriageEqualityNI Thunderclap Project set to reach over 5.5 million+ people

#MarriageEqualityNI Thunderclap Project set to reach over 5.5 million+ people
Danny
February 26, 2017

Please add your voice to the Thunderclap social media campaign and help get #MarriageEqualityNI trending on Twitter in Northern Ireland and across the world on March 1st 2017.

If you support marriage equality in Northern Ireland please sign up for the campaign today!

Signing up will allow the Thunderclap platform to send a one off message on twitter at 2:30PM GMT on Wednesday 1st March. This allows us to synchronise and co-ordinate a massive campaign to help get Northern Ireland’s equality message out across NI and beyond using the hash tag: #MarriageEqualityNI.

Social reach for the huge social media project organised by LGBT Rights NI, The Gay Say, Yes Equality Northern Ireland and Stop-Homophobia.com has already exceeded 5.5 million people.

CLICK HERE to add your voice.

We hope the campaign can encourage voters to support MLAs who value and respect LGBT equality. With your help we can really spread the message about Northern Ireland’s failure to push forward on equality legislation for LGBT people & shine a much needed spotlight on the campaign for marriage equality.

Please share the campaign on your social media accounts.

Thank you for all of your support!

What is Thunderclap?

If a tweet falls in the forest…

Social media is an easy way to say something, but it’s a difficult way to be heard. Thunderclap is the first-ever crowdspeaking platform that helps people be heard by saying something together. It allows a single message to be mass-shared, flash mob-style, so it rises above the noise of your social networks. By boosting the signal at the same time, Thunderclap helps a single person create action and change like never before.

You don’t need a huge following for a successful Thunderclap.

A user with 200 Facebook friends could amplify her message better than someone with 3,000 friends. It all depends on your cause’s voice and shareability—and how much your friends are engaged. Thunderclap has already reached out and helped millions of people across the world.
